Email Buyer/Seller link - anyway to require registration to use it?

My members are receiving emails for people who are not registered on our site - a good number of these emails are suspicious, and could be people trying to run scams. I would like to have the option to force people to be registered/logged in to use the email form to contact the buyer/seller. This way, the email recipient can look up the person who is sending the email.

If the person clicks on the link and is not logged in/registered, it will take them to a page that tells them that they need to be in order to use that function. Maybe this is already available and just don't know how to activate it?

Registration is not required to send an email to a buyer. This would require a mod - http://www.photopostdev.com

So I hacked the code so that the link now points to the vbulletin email member form. It was the easiest solution. It sure would be a good option to add in though.

That is the right way to handle it, unless the member doesn't have emails enabled. How about linking to the PM function instead?
