Hello,
I was wondering if I can get some assistance installing the classified software on my site. I've tried exploring every suggestion made on this forum without any success.

| PhotoPost PHP Photo Sharing Photo Gallery Installation Guide
The installation instructions are on the site here or in the documentations folder of the downloaded code.
You may do one of two things. You can post here the issue you are having for us to answer what you might be having a problem with. You can purchase an installation service from the online store if you just want us to perform the actual installation for you. PhotoPost Pro / vBGallery License |

Hi Chuck,
I posted about this issue before in another area and you told me to verify my account and make my post in here. Any case, I'm not new to Photopost and have been using it for years without any issues. Decided that we wanted to add classifieds to our site and purchase the PhotoPost Classifieds. One thing I want to add is PhotoPost Classifieds need slightly better documentation for the installation process. I've searched everywhere on the site and can only find the generic one of Photopost Gallery, not the Classifieds specific. Plus there are no documentation folder for PhotoPost Classifieds.
You have the "install" folder with all the installation files, however the (config-inc.php and config-intc.php) are not there, when I copy those files into the install folder it doesn't run right, even after I alter them with the proper configurations. However if I copy all the contents of the "install" folder into the root folder I'm able to run the installation. It's when I get to the Import Language and Zipcode that the installation fails.
The script is not able to import the Language and I get a blank screen. Secondly I'm only able to import the first 1000 records of the Zipcode. Seems as if it just times out on reading the first sql file and never executes the others.
So my question is: When I do the installation, do I keep everything inside the Install folder or do it copy all the contents into the main folder prior to running the installation.

The install instructions for classifieds is the same as the gallery have you read the install instructions in the downloaded code? There is most certainly a documentation folder for classifieds same as photopost.
I do not understand why you would try and copy the config files somewhere they are
not suppose to be. The 2 config files are suppose to be where they are located in the root folder. The files that are in the install folder are suppose to be there and you would run install from that folder like http://www.yoursite.com/classifieds/install/install.php
The install procedure has changed in the past year so you really need to follow the documentation in the product. All the files in the install folder are designed to be ran from there.
When you finish install it goes to a link to install the phrases which simply runs this file http://www.yoursite.com/classifieds/install/phrases.php |

Hi Chuck,
The first thing I did was do as you said, install it from /classifieds/install/install.php. However when I did that it gave me an error indicating that those files were missing even though they were there. Tried this several times before copying the (config-inc.php and config-intc.php) into install folder which for some reason was able to proceed with the install. Then got the blank screen on the Language import and Zipcode issue.

This issue is resolved. Fpr those wondering this is a windows issue with paths and is easily corrected and will be adjusted in future downloads. The backslashes in some windows servers where not being converted to forward slashes. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Basically adding the line in bold corrected slashes.
