Admin Interface - Notes

I just upgraded my classifieds to 5.0 and the admin interface is now black, grey and white. Is there a way for me to change this because those colors just blur together for me.

I also want to point out that there are duplicate fields in the admincp. On the left hand side there are 2 "Search Options" under the Edit Settings section. There are also duplicate fields for the cron functions under the Admin Options Section. Both the cron script and cron fields are duplicated.

Instead of starting a new thread I also want to add that as of the upgrade the classifieds aren't showing any of my css. My site is running vbulletin 4 (newest) and was pulling the css fine before the upgrade. I didn't change my config files.

There are a couple of things to point out that I am seeing here. In our announcement we state to read the documentation on upgrade in the documentations folder of the downloaded code.

Your errors and solutions are simple.

1. Your duplicate phrases are a result of running your upgrade script more than once which results in duplicate entries. You can simply run the phrases.php script in the install directory to remove old phrases and import a fresh english language

2. At the bottom of the upgrade instructions in the documentations folder of the downloaded code are the notes on important steps that need to be done with vbulletin 4. You need to follow those steps to generate your xml file that needs to be installed into vbulletin product manager.

Shame on me. I "assumed" the vbulletin stuff was strictly for the modules on forumhome and the profiles, which had installed from the previous version, so didn't follow that directive. Lesson learned. (Slaps my forehead.)

I see I have to modify the default.css file I guess to fix the admin cp. I say fix because I have vision issues and literally can't use the acp with the black grey and white combo. They blur together. I can't fathom why that is the default look and couldn't find a location yet to change it since I can't read with those colors being there. I am not trying to sound like an ass but whoever chose that color scheme should do a bit of research on web color usability.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction with my issues.

You can find the admin colors under "layout' in the control panel for anyone else who needs to get it changed like I did.

You can yes change the styles under admin layout options in admin. I only had to take a look at your classifieds index to see your issue. In vb integration we load the style classes all in the product plugin so yes its more than just modules its style navigation the whole package.
