| No images or thumbnails after upgrades
Today I upgraded PP Classifieds from 2.1. Yesterday I upgraded my vB forum and PPpro and they upgraded fine. The classifieds layout was changed after the forum upgrade but the photos showed ok. I figured a classsifieds upgrade would fix the layout issues - which it did, but now there's no thumbnails or images showing only a "no thumbnail" icon shows. I can see the pics and thumbnails in my directory via ftp so I know they're there. The paths looked like they upgraded ok as they show as they did previously.
Any suggestions of how I can fix this?
Thanks

well hard to comment without full info here
Are you sure you ran all the required upgrades and did NOT run the one upgrade which states not to run more than once ( 2.4 ). Reason I ask is because the file structure and files are moved in the 2.4 upgrade step.

Yes, I did run it but only ran it once. I did not run the upgrade for 1.01 to 1.8 (or whichever it was - the first one listed)

well like I said we would need accurate information here to assist please post a url to the install so we can tell you what you did wrong.
I would suspect you did not run the 2.4 upgrade or you ran it twice.
Make sure the site is viewable to guests or post a test user login.

Well that's interesting.... the path from a dead thumbnail shows
amx-perience.com/classifieds/data/3/thumbs/ebay_4_005.jpg
but there's no 'thumbs' folder in 3 in the data dir? the image ebay_4_005.jpg is in 3 though

You did not run the 2.4 upgrade Main Index - AMC Classifieds
delete the install and upgrade files off your server and you do know that your server runs very slow and that google ad thing slows it down even more |

Yeah, it's bogging big time. Normally not that bad but I've got major redesign work to do anyway. I ran the 2.4 but maybe it didn't take or? BUT, it's working now? So all is good you think? Or do I need to run it again?
Thanks again

Maybe you ran step 1 but never ran the next two steps. steps 2 and 3 had definately never been done.
You do not need to do anything else.

Well phooey! Good news/bad news. Good news is it works as is, bad news is if I activate VB4 integration the same issue returns. The integration design works but no thumbnails or images show up.
I edited the config-intc.php file to the following:
$vbpath = "/home/amx/public_html/AmericanMotorsForum";
$pppath = "/home/amx/public_html/classifieds";
// We need the URL path to your Classifieds and vb installation
$class_path = "http://www.amx-perience.com/classifieds";
$vb_urlpath = "http://www.amx-perience.com/AmericanMotorsForum";
// The URL of your photo dir where your images are stored (with / at end)
$cldata_dir = "http://www.amx-perience.com/classifieds/data/";
// If your PhotoPost Classifieds tables have a prefix, put it here
// Example:
// = "pp_";
$pp_db_prefix = "photopost_";
I've tried w/wo the prefix and the server path to the images dir, slashes and no slashes, but nothing shows. It's gotta be simple but I'm baffled. Please help! Thanks!

I'm not seeing it? In classifieds Admin Options there's -
/home/amx/public_html/classifieds/data/
'http://www.amx-perience.com/classifieds'
'http://www.amx-perience.com/classifieds/images'

do you mean the $vb_urlpath? or $ vb-path? I thought they would call the vB info, not the classifieds data?

You closed it now so I can not say right this second but what I saw was what I posted those settings are in the admin global options not config files.
I looked at the url it was trying to load photos from and you have it set to the url I said instead of what it is suppose to be.

Hmmmm....If I bring up Admin Global Options in a web browser the URL to PPC points to: http://www.amx-perience.com/classifieds/images None of the settings point to any variation of
'http://www.amx-perience.com/AmericanMotorsForum/data'
I clicked on an enlarged pic and it is located here:
'http://www.amx-perience.com/classifieds/showfull.php?product=1685&bigimage=12854Jav2_s.jpg'
It's open again, sorry bout that - didn't see it in admin.
