Step 3 - 500 Error

I'm trying to install and every time i get to step 3, i get a 500 error.

Its a windows server with Abyss Web Server. MySQL 5 is installed, and i even tried installing with strict mode disabled and the same error occurs.

I see that all the tables are being created.

What's happening?

I have never heard of any errors like this and am not familiar with abyss web server configs.

Your server error logs should give you more of a detailed message as 500 error is the most general of errors and gives me no info to base a resolution to. I would need a more detailed error message to suggest what your issue might be.

No the install script has all the sql queries within it.

The problem like I said right now is you need to get the error from your server logs to narrow down your issue.

I have personally installed this application on all types of servers with no issues so let me know what your logs say so I can suggest how to fix your issue.

I finally got it installed by installing XAMPP locally and then copying over the database to my web server. Everything seems to be working fine.
