Can't access ACP

Had to temporarily move to a different domain.
Got classifieds working but I can not access the ACP.
Tried to re-install, edited the cp_settings table manualy to the correct settings but it keeps trying to log me into the stand alone version and is not picking up the VB integration. Even more interesting is the stand alone login screen says version 3.05 I am at a complete loss at the moment...

Are you sure you are connecting to the right install database etc?

As long as you have installed to properly integrate with vbulletin you should not have any issues.

Url?

Yes, the previous host was UK based and now I am on my own dedicated servers so the while I kept the database name the same the entire URL structure has changed. Also Classifieds is working for my members perfectly, just I can not access the ACP.

Main Index - Radio Control Monster Truck Network Classifieds

Then registration goes to the forum. Are you logged in using the forum login? Have you verified the vb license number has been entered where asked in the config? Your cookies are correct?

Without knowing the exact error it is all a guess.

I am logged in to the forum as an admin as well as VB's admincp with the same ID.

I have triple checked the VB license information and it is the same as that in the index file of the forum. I also verified VB cookies and they are set as "rcmt"

I also verified the database table cp_settings are all correct to the best of my knowledge.

Error? I am not getting any errors. I am not able to access the classifieds admin control panel via VB integration. I am being presented with a login screen as if it was a stand alone system. My users can use classifieds I can just not edit its configuration as I can not get into the admin control panel.

From my VB config file:
Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.
Double checked and can confirm setting 182 cookieprefix table is set to "rcmt"

Could it possibly be cookie_path as it is set to "/"? and the forum is under Radio Control Monster Truck Network Nothing resides below this.

cookie path must be /

cookie domain must be .pwrhouse.com

Your vb license must be correct in the config file of photopost

what I am saying without me seeing your issue it is hard to say.

when you login to the forum are you logged into photopost?

before you reinstalled photopost to integrate with the forum you removed the usergroups table entries in photopost?

I do not see any place to set cookie domain
I checked the database table cp_settings as well as config.inc.php and config.inct.php Seeing as classifieds is fully functioning (less admin control panel access) can this be a cookie issue? Seems to me I am just missing some configuration setting (I hope).

When I am logged into the forums I can access Classifieds, place ads, delete ads, etc. I just can't access the admin control panel.

When I moved to the temporary domain, I did a MySQL Dump, backed up all the files and moved everything to my server. In essence this is a mirror of the other site. VB came right up and so did classifieds once I manually edited the cp_settings table as there are entries there that are not found in the config files but that was due to your enlightenment.

Are there any other tables that I should check that deal with accessing the admin control panel?

The only reason I re-ran the classifieds installer was by your request. I did not remove the usergroup tables. I just checked them however and they mimick those of the forums and are configured accordingly.

Well what do you mean you can not access admin what is your message?

I might need to see your issue. If you have a message saying you are nit a valid admin your usergroups areare not right

There is no message. It brings me to a login screen that is indicative of a stand alone install when I click on the admin lnk.

I have attached an image of the login screen so you can see. And this is the latest version so I have no idea why it is saying version 3.05

Chuck S August 29th, 2011 10:13 AM

okay well then we are back to discussing cookies and your license number as your login is not fully integrated

at any rate as previously stated you can send us detailed info to login and check things out otherwise I am simply guessing based on what your telling me.
