some problems after upgrading

Vb3.84

Upgraded to the v4 classifieds and when I've tried to post a test ad I've noticed a few things that there that are turned off.

The paypal info (it shows and it's turned off in config) and the description is no longer using the editor yet they are turned on in the config?

See attachment.

Thanks in advance.

well the buy it now is not controlled by your paypal switch nor is the paypal email thing

In fact they are not switched off nothing is on that page. Things that are hidable are stuff on the showproduct page where we actually say display this or display that.

The editor shows up for me if I have it turned on in admin options. I would actually have to see your site.

Main Index - My Spain Classifieds so you can check for the WYSIWYG editor not functioning.

Also is there a way to manually remove the ebay options from the template?

I've had some further time to play with it and found that I can use "off" and "basic" editors but the advanced no longer works and worked fine in previous version.

The odd thing is each time I select advanced the first time I check to see if it works or not i get this in the editor box.

"<p><br _mce_bogus="1"></p>"

All 3 of the following options are set to "on" in fact if i turn them off and hit save it reverts back to "on" is that normal in new version?!

vB3 INTEGRATION

Do you want to enable the vB3 Integration which uses your vB3 headers, footers and styles? = on

Do you want to enable the vB3 Enahnced features which use vB3 controls in PhotoPost? = on

If using the Enhanced option above, do you want to enable the vB3 WYSIWYG control in Post Comments? = on

I think you misunderstand the vb wysiwyg editor does not appear on the upload page

The only place the vb wysiwyg editor appears in our software is in the quickreply and comments page

If it does not appear then you have to have a setting messed up.

You can use the tinymce editor on other pages if that option is turned on in admin options. Your free to post specific site info to the contact us link in our header if your still having issues.

Now anything else like removing stuff from templates is considered code hacking and your free to do that. There is no support for that kind of stuff but I would suggest looking in the uploadproduct templates for the buyit and buyemail input boxes.

Morning Chuck,

All I know is that if the following is set to "advanced" then I get no editor what so ever and just a basic box as pictured above.

Use WYSIWYG Editor
Select off basic or advanced editor.

This used to work with advanced before the upgrade but no longer works with v4 of the classifieds.

Would you still suggest I put in a support ticket or sorts so someone can take a look at it?

Regards
