install problems

I uploaded the 4.0 version first..installing with phpBB3 support.. put photopost classifieds into its own mysql database.. everything goes fine until the very end.. then I get this message:

Wiped database, tried several times.. I then used the 3.21 version and same problem.

I would suspect with that error your specifying the wrong table prefix or database information for your forum database.

I know im using the right database username and password for the forum...what prefix would i need to use.. i just left this blank on the last page in the install..thats the page the returns the error too.

well you have display errors on so modify your pp-inc.php and tell me the actual mysql error

You should then be able to see the real error

i used the correct prefix.. its phpbb_ via the forum config.php file but i still get the same error after clicking next.

where is the pp-inc.php file located..I cant seem to find it

That is our global file included in the root base of the classifieds files

Result: Table 'nascarmart_forum.phpbb_usergroups' doesn't exist

I went back to the forum intergration setup page and hit next and it finished the install this time! it must have been the prefix thing..then the second time i must have forgot to chose phpbb3 from the intergration list..

yeah your prefix is most likely wrong so you want to triple check that
