Unhappy Firefox 3.5.5 3rd screen blank boxes

Using 3.21 Classifieds.

Firefox 3.5.5 users are reporting they are unable to complete submissions. When they get to screen 3 they get misplaced, unmarked boxes.

We updated to FF 3.5.5 and have the same problem.

No problem with MSIE and it worked with previous versions of FF.

Help please.

Cheers.

Do you have a screenshot? Not quite sure what you mean by misplaced unmarked boxes

Have not personally upgraded Firefox yet here running 3.0.15

Ok... looks like it doesn't like this sort of code:

<!------ REMARK ----->

Looked at the source code in the browser and saw these remarks aren't being ended properly effectively blocking the browser from running that part of the code.

Removed the remark sections and the code appears to be running. Will do more testing. If anything adverse shows up I will add to this thread, otherwise its fixed.

Thanks, Cheers.

<!--PhotoPost Classifieds, Copyright All Enthusiast,Inc. REPLACEME -->

That is valid HTML so not sure why it would have an issue with that.

Going to go upgrade and see.

Thats completely valid html and I just upgraded. Seems completely valid and posted a test ad no problem on my test install

Code:

Test - PhotoPost Classifieds

It is common practice to comment in html with <!-- comment here -->

In fact most of the templates have comments stating the template name where it begins and ends so if your hypothesis was correct none of your site would show.
