Going from VB+Photopost Classifieds to just Photopost Classifieds

I currently run VB Version 3.6.7 with Photopost Classifieds PHP vB3 Enhanced

In the process of moving my ISP, I plan to do away with VB and only run Photopost Classifieds.

Am I correct to assume my VB and photopost use the same database?
If so, am I better off starting from scratch or trying to import the previous classified ads when I re-install the current version of photopost classifieds?

Thanks

Joe

Joe

The issue is your users which are stored in vbulletin. You would have to create some script to import there info into classifieds.

Starting over of course is the easiest way and since the content is temporary overall it is the best way unless you have programming skills.

Thanks Chuck. I forgot the users are tied as well. Makes sense to start over since I only have a few dozen ads and most are very old.

The ad data is also stored in that same database correct?
