We're sorry, but the system experienced an unrecoverable error

Every time i try to install Photopost classifieds, i get the following message after filling in the forum integration "form".

I'm running IPB 3.0.3

I'm not 100% sure i'm putting the "mogrify" path in correctly (i've been given 3 different paths by 3 different people on my servers helpdesk!), but the rest i'm sure is 100% correct on the servers settings.

I've also made sure i've configured the permissions correctly according to the installation guide.

Is this a question that I should setup PPC as a standalone and then integrate it? or should things be ok using the integration page in the installer?

How should I go on from here?

EDIT: ok,tried the install with PPC managing it's own users, and it installed fine. guess it's something to do with configuring IPB then?

I would suspect your not installing the application correctly to integrate with invisionboard. You need to specify the correct sql information where asked for the forum etc and input all correct info as you go along on the install.

My test site was actually used to create the invisionboard 3 integration we support and as seen it is integrated with invisionboard.

The config-inc.php variables are all correct. the only one there i'm not sure if i need to fill in is the VB license number?

as for the integration side, i would imagine that i chose IPB3 from the drop down, email is obvious, forum cookie information is the same as in my IPB setup, Stylesheet name i haven't filled in, and the website and path information is what it is. I don't see how I can be putting anything wrong in there.

I can see it CAN be done.... it just doesn't seem to like me! lol

How about forum mysql table prefix? Might be good to place a url here.

pikey7 September 12th, 2009 11:38 PM

my forum doesn't have a table prefix. does it need one?

Most any invisionboard I know of has a table prefix look in your config file

Now your example is a standalone its not integrated with invisionboard.

pikey7 September 13th, 2009 05:38 PM

yeah I know it's standalone now. I just wanted it up and running to see if i'd maybe not had it talking to the database or mis-uploaded some files. I'll give it a go with a table prefix...

As long as you provide the proper database info and table prefix and select invisionboard 3 integration you should be fine. Just remember you will need to clear the usergroups table under classifieds database before reinstalling.

Thats got it! Thanks Chuck. Just gotta get the headers and things looking the same as the main forum now, and we're golden!

Yep looking good told ya it works. I know since I wrote most of the integrations we use.
