Version confusion

Hi Chuck and all,

My config-inc.php says I am running version 2.5

In my control panel it says I am running 2.61

How do I know for sure what version I am running??

At the top of my control panel is states that there is a 3.13 update

and I just downloaded what appears to be version 3.2 from the members area.

Do I need to change the config-inc.php to state the version number I am running, or is this something that happens in the upgrade along the way somewhere?

Your config file never gets updated unless you update it so you never check versions there.

Your version is listed in your admin statistics which is 2.61

So you download the code 3.2 and upload everything except the config files and install script. You run upgrade and select the 2.6 through 3.2 upgrades.
