Thanks again for your help.
I'm unable to create a sub-forum. I get this error - Quote:
Script: adm-cats
Query: INSERT INTO cp_categories (id,catname,description,catorder,thumbs,parent,hea der,footer,headtags,ugnoview,ugnoupload,ugnoanno, template,extra1,extra2,extra3,extra4,extra5,extra6 ,sortorder,frames) VALUES(NULL,'RV's','Campers, Motor Homes, Pop Ups','0','yes',1,'','','', '', '', '', '0', '', '', '','', '', '', '0', '')
Result: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 's','Campers, Motor Homes, Pop Ups','0','yes',1,'','','', '', '', '', ' at line 3
Database handle: Resource id #4

| Im also having this problem
Some of my users are having a login problem. Basically they enter their username and password, are shown it was entered in correctly, but get pushed back to the generic not-logged-in classifieds start page.
I've seen this a few times myself, but restarting my browser and returning to the site usally fixes it. However, for some users, they can't login no matter what they do.
And for some reason it seems to affect (Mac Users) more.

You must set permission for uploading posting etc in admin edit usergroups.
I would suggest you check your cookies. Cookies and Login Problems!! |

You can do this after install.
Check your forum make sure they are set like this and under the classifieds admin => cookie settings make sure they are set like this as well.

I did the cookie and domain paths as the instructions say. As of last night, registered members still couldn't stay logged in to the classifieds 1/2 hour after I changed those settings. I haven't checked this morning yet.

If your say using vbulletin and both Photopost and vbulletin are set like this there should be no cookie issues.
cookie path /
cookie prefix bb
cookie domain .domain.com
Now in your photopost config settings your vb license number must be entered correctly in the config details not customer number.
The only way login is going to be dropped is if your cookies are not the same between both products.

Well I just don't know what else to do. I checked the photopost config file and the vB license # is there... not the customer #.
The cookie path and domain are set according to instructions. I'm at a loss.

I still had your cpanel login in our helpdesk. Your cookie settings where nowhere near what we suggested in the post above and in our cookie faq that I posted.
Your cookie domain in classifieds cookie settings was EMPTY
Your cookie domain in the forum was EMPTY
Your cookie path in the forum was set to .domain.com not /
Furthermore to illustrate the issue. Your forum is set to use domain.com and classifieds www.domain.com which are two separate cookie domains. This is why the FAQ suggests using .domain.com so it is readable over every subdomain.
You can try logging in now it should work.

As for the info above, I had the cookie path set to /.
The cookie domain was not empty last night. I set it to .mydomain.com.
I know these settings were correct because I checked them twice when I couldn't login to classifieds. I did miss the step in classifieds cookie setting.

I had to use the tools.php file that comes with vB and reset the cookie path and domain to be able to log into my forum and acp.
This add-on just isn't working with my forum.

You need to set cookies as I have defined.
You would be able to login to the forum if you simply cleared your browser cookies.
The settings here are an absolute if you want the login to work as we say you must do as stated in cookie faq.
Your cookies where indeed set to what I stated. You had them all out of whack.

But you said that you set the cookies and domain to what it should be and we could not login, to anything. Even after clearing cookies, browser cache, and waiting a couple of hours.
I'm wondering if I should uninstall this and start all over. It seems to be a mess.
Thanks for your help.

Whatever you do you need to set things as I have explained and it indeed would work fine if installed like this..
Start with your forum. Set cookies to how I said.
cookie path /
cookie domain .domain.com
You had them backwards when I checked.
You can then login logout and check that things work after that set classifieds the same way thats all.
