GD related install for ppClassifieds

Hi,
I'm new at this so please bear with me. I am currently running vBulletin in a locahost mode on my system and just purchased PhotoPost Classified to add to my forum site that I am developing. My localhost (XAMPP) environment doesnt include the GD graphics library. I have downloaded GD, but do I need to go through the config, compilation, etc process for GD or does PhotoPost just need to have it present?

You can not install GD without reinstalling PHP.

You can if you have SSH access to the server install Imagemagick. You may already have mogrify present on the server check that out.
