Upload multiple images error

Hi guys. I have been working on a client site and am having a problem I can't get past. There is a Photopost Classified Ads software instance installed that was working fine on an old server. Since I moved to new server, the program errors out when I try to upload more than one picture with an ad. I'll post the error below. I have been trying to figure this out for a couple of days and can't make it work. It appears to be a permissions issue, but the permissions look ok. Can anyone help?

If the path is fine then the issue is that either safe mode is on in PHP or your data 17 directory either does not exist or is not 777 permissions.

Thanks for the reply. I verified safe mode is off.

Setting up the directory and chmod'ing it only helps for that directory. Any subsequent directories needed within are still not created and an error is generated.

Was the actual data directory moved to the new server intact. It would appear not. Your only choice is to create all the directories or delete your categories and recreate them.
