upload problem I uploaded the new photo classifieds 3.0 and for some reason I lost all the pictures tha people have uploaded to the site. What can I do. Thanks www.dragracingclassifieds.com/class |
I have tested upload on a normal site and dont see any issues. Nor has anyone else reported any issues. If I look at your site none of the ads that I see have images except for a few. Now looking deeper at your site it appears to me possibly you ran an upgrade you where not suppose to run more a total of 4 times which is why the images dont show. Look here http://www.dragracingclassifieds.com...RT3_Delay1.JPG Thats a link in your program to an image. However note the 4 zero's in front which should not be there http://www.dragracingclassifieds.com...RT3_Delay1.JPG Now that image displays. You I suppose where only suppose to run the 2.5-2.6 upgrade and you ran the 2.4-2.5 upgrade 4 times which is a no-no. Your only way to get back images would be to restore the cp_products table of your mysql database and only run the 2.5-2.6 upgrade. |
How do I restore the restore the cp_products table |
If you have a backup of your mysql database you could simply backup your current messed up table using phpmyadmin to some other name just to be safe then empty the contents of the products table using phpmyadmin and then use the sql box to input the insert comments of your backed up products table before your upgrade. Then simply run the 2.5 to 2.6 upgraded not the upgrade you ran before multiple times which resulted in this issue. |
I amreloading all my stuff from scratch. I have the 2.6 what do I do now. Thanks |
I want to upgrade to 3.0 |
If your using 2.6 then all you need to do if you restored the database to a pre upgrade state is upload all the 3.01 files except config files and install and run the upgrade and select 2.6 to 3.0 thats it. |
I did that and it still shows 2.6 |
what do you mean it shows 2.6. Your version is listed on the stastics page where it says version and if you have upgraded it will say 3.01 |
