Problem with new Installation

Hi,

I have just tried to install the classified system on www.bribieislandonline.com

I tried to use my existing VB3 Vbulletin board database.

Everything seemed to install OK, but when I went to the admin panel, I get the following errors.

How do I rectify this problem?

BTW. I paid for support to do the installation, but decided to do myself. Does this warrant a little more support on getting this working?

Common mistake on last step of install the wrong forum server path was entered. You can edit the config-intc.php file and on the $vbpath line set the proper server path to vb and you will be fine.

Now I have another though.

I get this when I go to www.bribieislandonline.com/classifieds/

Does your stats table exist in your classifieds database?

Yes there is a stats table in the database.

There were no errors on installation.

That makes no sense though if the stats table exists. In admin global options turn on the debug feature to display errors and when logged in as admin view your index and tell me the true error.

Hi Chuck,

I managed to get it working. I did another install and then changed the path to VB and all seems to work ok now. This problem must take a lot of your time, as the installation script allows for the mistake to easily be made. I did the same thing second time around.

Anyway I have added a product for sale at www.bribieislandonline.com/classifieds

The image does not show up though, and no thumbnail was created. I tried edditing the product, and still nothing.

There were no errors either.

Is there something I have to enable to see the images.

Also on the main page, there is just a list of product groups and no images shown. Is there a way of displaying images of the products in each group under the groups?

check your paths in global options in admin and your permissions on your uploads and data directories making sure they are 777 at every level

you should get errors if there are errors uploading so what are they?
