Can't create categories

I've installed PP Classifieds today and am trying to get it working. For some reason the categories I've created in "Edit Categories" don't show up in the dropdown list when I try to submit ads! So the dropdown list is quite empty!

Any help appreciated.

if you create categories and assign them to an ad type make sure you select that ad type on upload. you can also turn off the ad types your not using under ad types in admin.

Still haven't succeeded in uploading ads. I have now two categories which are shown to all usergroups. These two categories can be seen, when I start uploading ads. As I submit and go to step 2, I can only see an empty dropdown list. So how do I assign a category to an ad type? I have chosen template type, is there something else I must do?

I am telling ya if your dropdown is empty you are selecting an ad type where you have no cats assigned to
