| The old template discussion: Step 2 is missing!
I need your help.
We just did a fresh install with 3.0 integrated in vb 3.6.8 and now there is an error with the original template for step 2 - choose the category/uploadproduct -: Step 2 of 3
Choose the category you wish to place your ad:
The category-name is missing. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Thanks for helping!
Greeting
Klaus

Make sure to turn off the ad types under admin ad types that you have not setup categories for.

Thanks Chuck, we did that, but a backup from a prior installation solved the problem!
Never mind, amazing and fast support from you, as we know already!:-)

The category-name is missing. | I had the same problem, now it jumps right to Step 2 (with an empty drop down menu).
How can I restore things? (This is a new installation with vB3) and I am trying to understand how to display subcats in Step 2 - looks like I have to disable the other ad types, which I did, but..
Sure could use a UI here with some browse functions etc. to load files..

If you have empty dropdowns do this
Make sure to turn off template types you are not using. You would only have an empty dropdown if you are selecting ad types for which no categories are set to that type.

What happened early is that I renamed that first ad type Assets for Sale, then when I saw one of your support replies not to do that, I renamed it back to For Sale. Would that have left me without a template?

renaming a name would not do anything as long as you did not change the adtype id.
In a normal classifieds the ad types are this Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Now you can set all to off except forsale and then under admin edit categories you must have categories set to use the forsale template to have the upload dropdown box show categories on step 2

(I have varied the order and used Order Subcats to no avail.
I fyou recall, and per another capture I sent via email, I got the following error when Installed the plug-in for going from VB3 back to PP.
Parse error: parse error, unexpected '<' in /home/content/t/h/n/thnews/html/forums/index.php(594) : eval()'d code on line 1
Any ideas?
