problem placing a bid

OK, when people go to BID on items that are placed for AUCTION they get this message:

What are your thoughts and how can I resolve this issue?

Well internal server error is a server level error. I have tested bidding and see no issues here. Please check your server error logs or have your host check the error logs and post any info here to assist us in posting something that might help you. Offhand my first though would be to make sure you reupload clean bids.php and bids.tmpl files but without more info it is near impossible to diagnose a generic INTERNAL SERVER ERROR message without the relative pertinent error that gets posted in the server logs.
