Question trouble with the setup after Step 4

ok, I go through step 4 and once filled in this information and click "Configure PhotoPost" I get this error:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/usr/local/mysql-5.0/data/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/content/g/e/r/geraldkiii/html/website/sales/install.php on line 1082
I cannot connect to the Members database.

What can be wrong with this?

I am trying to integrate this with a vBulletin 3.6.8 forum and already have Photopost vBGallery integrated.

Please help me.

Thank you all in advance for your assistance.

Hello that error suggests to me that you are not entering the correct database information for your vbulletin database in your user database portion.

Hey, I had to manually enter the information in the config-inc.php file so I could get past this step.

Now I am working on the header-inc.php file setup and having issues. I don't know what to edit on this document.

Can you help?

Thank you for your help by the way.

If everything is installed correctly you should not have to edit anything. You enter the proper database info on the config portion of install. As far as anything else you can point a site link here so we can see your gallery if your trying to report other issues.

Thats easy one.

On the last step of install the wrong server path to vbulletin was entered. All you need to do is ftp to your site and edit the config-int.php file and on the $vbpath line make sure you have the correct server path to vbulletin there.

OK, that is resolve...Now one more issue. If you go to pantyluvrs.com/forum and look at the very top you will see a blue background for that table.

When you go to www.pantyluvrs.com/forum/sales and look at the top the background is not there...there is just a WHITE background instead of the image it should be.

How can I resolve this?

Thank you so much for your help.

If your using a custom style you need to go to vbulletin admin and go to styles and templates and view all style options for your style. You will see the relative image paths usually correcting those relative image paths will full urls will correct that issue. You cant use relative image paths and try and show images over another directory as they will not be found. Let me know if you need anything else.
