I had an open error after installation Phase 3 (solve now)
Fopen on index.html in directory data->1->index.html must be with 777
Same for all folder and files under Data directory.

Installation of Photopost on local computer (eg with appserv or Easyphp) doesn't work.

Thanks.

Usually any issue can be resolved if one posts there error and our application indeed installs without issue to a local computer should it be properly setup to run php mysql applications. If the computer has not been properly setup to run web applications then you will run into issues.

My computer is running about 40 Php and Mysql websites without any problem. May be due to some incorrect parameters during install. I'll try another day...

well only error I can comment on that you posted here is about data directory permissions those are easily solved by making the data and uploads directories READ WRITE EXECUTE PERMISSIONS in windows or in linux you more likely know it as 777 PERMISSIONS.

I explain more : on web server (linux) error was that sub-directories (and may be files) undex data dir must be in 777 RECURSIVELY ! (not in documentation) but it was solved and works well.

In second, I can't running my Photopost under appserv with several errors but it can be some parameters errors due to me. I can't find exactly what I must put in it. If someone has try on a localhost PC, it can be help me.

Thanks

Pascal

PS : sorry for my english but I'm a french people
