2.4.1 to 2.6 upgrade

I am upgrading my Classified - PhotoPost from 2.4.1 to 2.6..
Im using this with phpbb 2.0.17 which I plan to upgrade also soon to version 2.0.22.

Can anyone let me know if the upgrade path is easy and if any database changes will occur?

Yes database changes are necessary they are easy upgrade instructions are provided in the documentations folder of the download and you will need to upgrade your forum
