Stupid integration question???

Okay. I am using a community software called phpfox. I originally had vbulletin integrated with that and then I had photopost classifieds integrated with vbulletin. It was all pretty seamless and for the most part I loved it. The catch was there was a login issue between vbulletin and phpfox that sometimes required a refresh to log users in. Little things like that bug me so when someone made a phpbb integration for phpfox I changed my forum out. Please don't stab me for switching to a lesser forum...I paid good money for vbulletin and would much rather be using that. To make a long story short I'm trying to add my classifieds back in thinking I could just use the phpbb integration as I had with vb and it's a nightmare. I did the install and I have no headers or footers on the classifieds...my registration link takes me to my site's front page rather than the signup page...just the tip of the iceberg I'm sure. So my question is...

Is the phpbb integration supposed to look pretty seamless? Styles and templates should transfer right? Or is it only going to work all nice like with vb? Before I waste any more time trying to figure it all out I guess I need to know that first. There is the distinct possibility that with the phpfox integration with phpbb it's calling different locations for the templates and photopost isn't in synch.

We integrate fine with vb3 or phpbb2. You can view examples here

http://www.photopost.com/action/index.php

I can not respond further on your topic since we do not know what the PHPFOX integration with either of those forums does or changes thus we only support integration with the forums we state

It could be possible I didn't integrate properly but I'm at a loss at what I could do differently.

As for your examples the only phpbb2 integration site example does not appear to have photopost classifieds on it any longer.

You can view Photopost Pro sites if you want examples. The integration is the same in every one of our product integrations

Okay, the only thing I can figure (and this is a guess) is that phpbb is using the phpfox headers and footers and I assume photopost classifieds are then in turn looking for phpbb header/footer and coming up empty. Does that sound probable? If so, is there a way to create a header/footer for the classifieds without losing the user integration between the forum and classifieds?

we do not grab any headers or footers from phpbb

we only authenticate with the phpbb2 login and can pull that forums stylesheet. You can post a test login here if you like but my suggestion is to make sure both your phpbb2 and photopost cookie settings are like this

cookie path /

cookie prefix phpbb2mysql

cookie domain .domain.com ( note the dot in from of your domain name)

So I guess my question should be how do I create headers and footers, etc in photopost? Man, I didn't have to do any of this with vbulletin. I just installed it and everything was great.

You use the Photopost header system. You load a server path in global options to a header and footer file you want to use. You can then edit them in admin edit header edit footer and place the html you want to load as a header.
