Moderate comments

In the 2.5 version moderating comments was default. Now it isn't. How can I choose to moderate them? There is no option in the admin panel

the comments will not appear until somebody moderates them. I'd like them to appear AND to be in the moderation panel, like in classifieds 2.5. How?

You set what usergroups have moderation in admin => edit usergroups

there is a "Moderate Ads?" but not a "moderate comments?"

Moderation is a global usergroup thing. Use Moderation is for ads as well as comments if you want to moderate comments you need to moderate everything for that usergroup

you changed it completely from version 2.5, then. I want to moderate only comments, the same way like on 2.5. How?

2.5 was a bug that always moderated comments. You can say use this in comments.php maybe but I will not support it. We support our code as written

Photopost works the same way as Classifieds but try removing this in showproduct

In photopost there is the option "show not moderated comments"

That would be fine to remove that just remember to turn on the option to display unapproved comments but classifieds doesnt have that your never allowed to display unapproved comments.

You can try adding this option to your database to help you out but our product which does not rely on comments since ads are time sensitive material and deleted moderation will be a global element

Why don't you write the same code like in photopost, for the comments?

Code hacking your code from the default is not a function of product support. I dont mind posting hints or help in certain ways when I can continue helping but find it increasing difficult to help someone outside the confines of support when they make mildly insulting posts as yours above.

With that said you might want to reread my edits to the code and that query you might want to add and you might get what you want to achieve as it does work just fine. Classifieds is not photopost and how it works is slightly different. Moderation is a global element as I have previously said.
