Can't Log In Admin Area

I am doing a fresh install of PhotoPost Classifieds v2.5
Build: 9/29/06 when I go to mydomain/classifieds/index.php I log in using my Forums User Name and password. When I click Log In I get (Login Successful!
) It refreshes and logs me completly out. Why is it doing this? I have checked my Vb license number not customer # in the config-inc.php (It is corect)

This only thing I have not done is the below quote that I found.
Quote:
I would suggest you check your database or if photopost settings table is in your vb database do these queries and make sure vbulletin matchs this and of course change the domain to match yours

UPDATE pp_settings SET setting='/' WHERE id=171
UPDATE pp_settings SET setting='bb' WHERE id=172
UPDATE pp_settings SET setting='.domain.com' WHERE id=173
Where do I do this and how? I don't have a pp_settings in the db, I have a cp_settings, is this the same?

I would suggest you double check your license number is correct and you ran reinstall to specific the correct cookie prefix or use a tool in your domain control panel like phpmyadmin to use the queries posted above. make sure vbulletin and photopost are set the same cookie wise as they are currently not set correctly

cookie settings must be set to this in vb and photopost

cookie path /

cookie prefix bb

cookie domain .domain.com

vb license number is found at the top of your vb config file.

If these are set correctly when you click the admin link on the menubar when your logged in you will get into admin

I am battling this same issue right now. New install, Photopost itself installed fine when I did that a couple weeks ago. Classifieds won't accept the admin login. I have my cookie prefix/domain blank (because I left it black in Photopost and it works with no issues). I added bb/domain info for the heck of it and same thing happens. I verified the VB license # in PHPMyadmin and it is all fine.

Going to try and reinstall...

EDIT: Ok I reinstalled, triple checked all settings. Cleared cookies, you name it. I even renamed config-intc to config-int at one point since the setup process referred to the file as config-int - nothing is letting me log into the admin. It says it works but then dumps me to the main classified screen without the user/pass being retained. I've tried in both Firefox (what I normally use) and IE (which I never use). same result.

Also, when it does this, if I try to go back to the main forum I have to reenter in my user/pass there. Once I enter it, I can go to Photopost (the gallery) and it retains fine, only classifieds is muffing up.

Any ideas?

Your cookies MUST be set as stated above if you want a properly functioning photopost product. Your cookies are not matched from the forum and photopost products.

But how is my Photopost Pro working perfectly without those settings? Or are you saying Classifieds must be set like this to work?

Also, I did try to set them as such, and it still did not work. I will try once again for triple checking...

EDIT: oh for crying out loud now it works mysteriously! The reinstall must have did something because I had tried previously and it did not work. Weird, thanks Chuck.

Your classifieds will and photopost will work fine if the license number and cookie prefix are correct.

However the domain as I note to be set between both products allow you to be site wide if you leave it blank try removing the www from your domain you will see your logged out. Not the case if you use .domain

If your truly needing support you can post a url here and a test user login and I can tell you what you have set incorrectly

See above for my edit - I will set that in Photopost as well just in case. I get what you're saying so I will cover my rump with that domain setting in there as well.
