| Invalid Mysql resource after upgrade
Guys,
I have upgraded from 1.0 to 2.5 and once the upgrade is finished, I'm getting the following errors in my classifieds... Quote:
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/httpd/html/classifieds2/forums/vb3.php on line 365
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/httpd/html/classifieds2/forums/vb3.php on line 365
| I'm also getting... Quote: |
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/httpd/html/classifieds2/forums/vb3.php on line 622
| In addition to that, some of the images aren't showing up and get something like this... Note the double slash.
I'm having a lot of trouble here and I'm at a loss. I have no problem upgrading photopost, but this one is killing me. Any help would be appreciated.

First off make sure you have uploaded ALL the new files
Second my initial response would be to make sure you ran all the upgrades but since your mysql issues have to do with two separate tables I would tend to think based on the errors you have corrupt tables. Go ahead and run a repair on them and lets see where we stand.

Third do not run any more upgrades as that appears to have gone fine except check your data directory permissions. Your data directories should have been 777 and when the last upgrade ran it would have moved your thumbs into the new thumbs directory but it appears you did not have that happen possible permissions issues?

I checked the permissions on the data directories and they are all 777
I can't even get into my admin area. Very strange. I'm sure I messed SOMETHING up but I have no idea what it is. I followed the instructions on install but no luck. I have done it twice now with the same result. The first time, I completely wiped it and tried again.

PS - I'm running vb 3.6. Does this not work with 3.6 yet? I see stuff relating to 3.5 but not 3.6

I decided to try a fresh install as well, and had no issues whatsoever with that. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but I would hate to have to rebuild the whole thing. Is there any way I could import all of my data from my old classifieds section to my new one instead of doing the upgrade or is that the only way I can save my current data?

Your issues are simple as I have posted your tables are corrupt or missing
Look here at error on line 622 Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
You should clearly have a iponline table but your query is failing. Do you see why I said earlier to check your iponline and usergroups table.
Also when logged in as admin and you have debugging set to display errors you should see the true error

Well, I seemed to have cleared up the error on line 622 but the two at the top of the page are still coming up. The iponline table was NOT missing but I'm sure there was something wrong with it since when I dropped it, then copied the iponline table from my good copy, that error went away.
Is there a way I can just import the data from the old version to my new working version instead of trying to continue this upgrade? Obviously the upgrade scripts need a little work. It's not modifying the tables like it should.

Well I would need to know whats missing from your usergroups table.
Also you ran your upgrades twice which was against the instructions. You can not run the 2.5 upgrade twice and thus your photo names now have the userid prepended twice.
You can restore your products table and run upgrade 2.5 once.
You can PM me with cpanel access and I can check out whats wrong with your usergroups table is you want. also include an admin login to classifieds

I don't have cpanel access and I also don't have admin access to the classifieds because it's not giving me admin access at all, no matter what login I use.
So is there a way to import into the new version that IS working?

You have phpmyadmin access basically you need some sort of server access to the backup to see whats going on.

Still haven't gotten this upgrade to work. I have followed the directions to a tee, multiple times to no avail. My question still stands...
Is there a way I can just import the data from the old version to my new working version instead of trying to continue this upgrade?

Once AGAIN, same issue after I tried the upgrade AGAIN using the directions provided EXACTLY. This is ridiculous. http://www.dieseltruckresource.com/c...eds4/index.php
Images are messed up, style sheets are messed up. This is getting old. So can we import the data from the old version or not? If not, then I'm just going to get a refund.

The upgrade script is not successfully changing these tables.

Disregard. I fixed it myself. Had to go in and make manual changes to three tables which the upgrade scripts didn't do.
