On the last step of install it asked whether you wanted to use the forum integration
Sign into your admin and go to edit integration fill out the url and server path statements and turn on the vb3 integration options and save then go to forum settings and turn on use forum style.

cookie path should be blank
table prefix of mysql for the forum is usually ibf_
Your not using the forum style so I can not hint at any other things other than in admin thats easy. Remove the html class in the invisionboard stylesheet in the style_images directory. The html thing has a scrollbar fix thing that breaks scrollbars

The css stylesheets are located in your forums style_images directory and you would remove the html class from the stylesheets to fix the scroll bar thing.
