Admin login problem I believe I'm having a cookie problem after install. When I try to access the admin, it takes me back to the index. Any help? http://www.hyattart.com/classifieds No Problems with Photopost and I have the same settings for both. http://www.hyattart.com/photopost No problems with VB using no cookie settings. http://www.hyattart.com/forums |
I ended up resolving this issue by creating the admin login and password during install and then going back to enhanced integration. I dunno why it didn't integrate initially though during install. |

You need to install Classifieds with vb3 integration right now you have it set as a standalone product not integrating with vb3 |

Yeah, exactly...which is why this still isn't working properly with VB3 Integration! As I said the 1st time...USING VB3 integration will not log in to ADMIN! I even tried droping the classifieds database and rerunning the install...but it always does the same thing. I goto login to adm-index.php and then it just takes me back to the main index page! I can not login to admin when I have intergration set. However, I have no PROBLEM with PhotoPost Pro with intergration set. What the F!??? This is REALLY a problem and starting to irritate me. I would have thought these buggy issues would have been worked out before I renewed the license. *Ok... I don't know how to do much in PHPmyadmin to see how it's not working...so I really need some help here. |
Well I see you have finally selected vb3 integration so did you also input the vb license number in the config? Is it working and please let's keep the discussion to one thread not two. |
Ok I Finally got it all working correctly. Here's where my problems were; B=0 I found that my URl to my data directory had two // at the end of the url when I went into PhpMyAdmin. So I fixed that. Then I also thought I would try using the forum cookie prefix (bb) and all of a sudden now I can login to admin with no problems. I verified that my vb license was in fact correct so I imagine that it had to have been the cookie prefix. But the weid thing is that Photopost Pro ran fine without needing it. Classifieds needs it to be able to login to the admin. I have synchronized all my settings to be the same between both softwares so it's all working correctly now. Thanks for the help. Now onto the hard part...custom skinning. ;) |
