| Charging Certain User Groups -- but not others
First -- I bought the license for the first gversion of Classifieds, and then later installed 2.0 - but have not upgraded since.
A. Is there a charge to upgrade to the most recent version?
B. How do I go about upgrading?
C. For some reason, I've always had more problems upgrading the photo albums and classifieds more than any other php/mysql app I use (many). Never gone smooth for me yet. Has the upgrade process improved?
D. How long has the most recent version been released?
Second -- the classifieds application is integrated with Vbulletin 3.0.6 (Yeah -- I need to upgrade this too) and I have several classes of membership going to premium members class with more features available to them. I've had the classifieds set to where only the premium members are set to YES for bold, highlight, Italic -- and the charge in the categories for those at 0. I'd like to now charge regular members for those options -- but keep it free to the premium members. I've added the charge amounts to those regular group of members, enable Paypal in the options, but left those options as NO in the user groups for the regular members. Does that mean it will:
A. only charge the regular members and not the premium members
B. only charge the Premium members and still not available to regular members
C. ????
If I'm doing it wrong -- what do I need to do to make it right?
