Problem after upgrading from 2.41 to 2.5

Hi,

I just downloaded 2.5 and have a problem after the upgrade.

In showproduct.php, showcat.php, recent ads in index.php, member.php, the 1st thumbnail always shows a cross (image not found). Strangely, the URL & supersize link to this 1st thumbnail still works.

Examples:

http://classifieds.singaporeexpats.c...cat.php?cat=16

http://classifieds.singaporeexpats.c...=11300&cat=135 in this cat:
http://classifieds.singaporeexpats.c...at.php?cat=135

Conclude:

1. Which means if this default 1st thumbnail ($bigimage) is supposed to show in any/all pages of the Classifieds, it will not appear.

2. In showproduct.php, clicking on the "red cross" (image not found) link still works and can see the image ($bigimage) in supersize. 1st thumbnail ($file1thumb) fails to load.

3. This problem only occurs if:
(a) The ad has more than ONE thumbnail
(b) It is from the OLD ads which I upgraded from 2.41 to 2.5

4. If I place a NEW ad, all thumbs seems to work.

Have you tried rebuilding thumbs. There have been no reported issues on this

How to rebuild thumb?

In Admin => Scan Database there is a rebuild missing thumbnail option.

rebuilt about 50 of them then this error halts the rebuilding:

Oh no! Now in admin stats I got a full page of these:

OK, its the directory permission.

I managed to complete the command without error.

Question:

Now I find all the 1ST thumbnail is correct. But, the second thumbnail is wrong.

It seems like the Rebuilt all thumbnail command only rebuilt the 1ST thumb and did not rebuilt the 2ND or 3RD. Is that correct?

How do I rebuild the 2ND thumbnail?

That is what I did, I tick Rebuild All Thumbnails then click Perform Tasks

The 2ND thumbnail does not rebuild, or rebuilt wrongly, I dunno.

Any other way to solve this? Like editing image-inc.php?

Well, the only way to solve this is to delete all the thumbs directory in all the cats then click Rebuild All Thumbnails.

Very very tedious but guess thats the only way now

I dont see an issue there you can also rebuild a thumb by editing an ad.

Cos I deleted the thumbs directory in all the 138 categories then Rebuild all thumbs.
