Please be patient when posting a response and let someone have time get back to you.

If you are logging into admin and the login loops the cookie prefix is always the culprit

Usually recheck the prefix against your config.php file of vb to make sure it is bb and then make sure the license number in your vb config also matches what you have in your classifieds config-inc.php file.

Chuck...sorry just frustrated as hell. OK...the prefix is bb in both. I did have a different license number...which i changed and still nothing.

The only other thing i can think of is when I was changing the chmod...on one folder i applied to all subfiles...

Would this have something to do with it?

No the license number and cookie prefix are what would trigger this

I registered a name and was logged in when viewing the classifieds although I had no permissions which means you dont have them set or your usergroups table in classifieds is empty.

Did you move the database from the old server?

OK Chuck...I figured out what it is...the usergroup id's in the classified install don't match the usergroup ids in the forum

Your usergroups table in Photopost should have many entries under it but it must have at least one your admin insert. Your Administrator entry in there must have a groupid of 6 and then cpaccess set to 1

You can try setting the username I registered as admin and let me see what I get trying to get to admin

OK...so once I manually fix these user groupids in the database...should it be ok from here on out?

Or do I need to do something in order for it to communicate properly?

You need to resync the usergroups in the photopost side to grab your vb usergroups especially when creating a new one

OK Chuck...thanks for the help...everything is good now ....

Except:

The Navbar links in the classifieds links to www.turbodub.com/classifieds/timeslips.php & the same for the vbgarage link.

The links should be www.turbodub.com/timeslips.php etc.

How can I edit this...the links are correct inside the forum.

Thanks.

You would fix those links in your navbar or whereever you have them in the specific vb template to be full urls and not relative urls and this should do it.
