Upgrading to 2.5 - page times out at step 2

It's the step where it "Moves DATA directory files". It says to do it "once successfully". So if the page times out and displays a 'page cannot be found', what do I do then?

How would I verify that the step was completed?

I just did a test upload and though I only uploaded one photo, six broken images showed up in the ad. Any idea what that's all about?

Interesting note - each broken image file is named with one letter. If you put together the letters in sequence, they spell out "banner".

Hello

Double check all new files are uploaded and in upgrade.php find this and try replacing 20 with say 48

Should I hit the back button in the browser and try running Step 2 again?

Just rerun upgrade.php and select the 2.5 upgrade again just do not run step 3 more than once and as always you did make a database backup right?

I have a backup I can use. Should I revert to a backup before reruning upgrade.php?

No there is no need if you have not ran step 3 more than once.

Finished the upgrade. Any idea on the photo problem I mentioned in the second post of this thread? I was hoping the finished upgrade would fix the issue, but it didn't.

I would need ftp and admin login to look at your site and see why uploads would not work
