Question Sorry, this image type () is not supported yet

When trying to add an add, I get this message:

Sorry, this image type () is not supported yet

The image is a .jpeg file. What have I not done / done wrong?

Okay and is your image processor configured to accept jpeg images?

Is this image a valid jpeg

Just to add to this, it was working the other day when first installed as I tested it with no problems with one image i've tried again to get the error. Just can't understand why it's not working now.

Okay well that would mean something is up with your image processor on the server.

I would suggest you check in Admin => Global Options which processor your using. Make sure if its gd that your PHP has GD installed

If your using ImageMagick make sure you have in the config the proper path to Imagemagick.

Posting the exact error message when you upload an image would help alot here.

It's GD2+ and the photopost gallery works fine.

It was working when I first installed it, just can't work out why now when nothing has been changed.

You say the gallery works fine but obviously it does not work fine if you can no longer upload at all.

Is there a communications issue here? Did you not just tell me above in post 8 that you can not upload a photo anymore?.

Therefore if you can not upload you need to tell me an error you get trying to upload so I can assist you in seeing what is going on.

The error message I get is in the FIRST post

The Photopost Gallery works FINE, the Photopost Classifieds does not work anymore as it says, again, "Sorry, this image type () is not supported yet".

The Classifieds worked fine at first, just will not allow an image to be added now for some unknown reason.

If it was a communication error, i'm sure I would be getting e-mails and DB messages wouldn't I?

I get the above message when I click submit with an image attached via Browse (From my computer).

Right, the gallery is not working either now so I assume it is a communication error? Ticket sent to the host.

Thanks for your time, i'll let you know the result.

Is your processor set the same in classifieds as photopost?

Is your permissions correct on the uploads and data directory of classifieds

Basically your saying it worked and then now it doesnt so you need to track down what is set different here. Make sure your using the same processor as Photopost if Photopost works

Yes permissions and processor are correct. Just checked inside the folders via ftp and the images are in there, all 50+ of them so they are uploading.

My photopost gallery is working normally, it was the wrong file I attached (.bmp) so there was no problem with that, sorry.

Classifieds is really puzzling me now.

It's working now, it was a permission error on the files "thumbs" and "large" in the data/2 directory. All other directories are set fine so perhaps my connection dropped whilst doing a chmod on that folder.....who knows!! Thanks for your time.

I would suggest you check everything your doing. Usergroup permissions would not change without them being changed. In fact we cache usergroups permissions when refreshing the usergroups from the forum

If I change "Edit own Ads" to "No", posting option goes to "No" and "Edit Own Ads" goes back to "Yes"

I also had a member post an add today and I have enabled paypal options. How come the add is showing but the money is not showing as added on my paypal account (No e-mail either from paypal)?

What integration you using?

You can send me a url and admin login to look at how your setting things up. Basically to have payments enabled you must fill in and select the correct payment information under payment options and then for users to have to pay under usergroup options their usergroups must have payment set to yes in the usergroup permissions so they can be asked for payment

EDIT I FOUND YOUR SITE VIA VIEWING YOUR EMAIL IN THE ADMIN PANEL HERE IN THE FORUM. JUST SET OMEGATRON USER TO ADMIN ON YOUR SITE
