Multiple Applications

I've installed ReviewPost and PhotoPost Classifieds into the same database as my vBulletin script, but the problems start when I try to display both scripts on the vBulletin homepage.

When I click on the arrow to open the collapsable Featured Reviews box, the Featured Ads opens instead, and the Featured Reviews box simply doesn't display anything (doesn't expand).

Also, when you try to collapse the actual category displays, only one of the two galleries will expand/collapse. There is obviously a conflict happening somewhere.

I would like to purchase PhotoPost aswell, but the I imagine that the conflict will become even worse. How can I get all of the boxes/categories working as they should?

So does anybody know if ReviewPost and PhotoPost Classifieds can both be displayed on the forum homepage? Because the two scripts don't seem to work together.

That works great for the Featured Ads and Featured Reviews boxes, but what about the Ad Categories and Review Categories sections? Is there a similar way to make them work independantly of each other?

My guess is that you need to change something in the following section of code to make category lists expand/collapse independantly, but I may be wrong:

$catcol++;
$colimg = &$vbcollapse["collapseimg_photo_$catcol"];
$colobj = &$vbcollapse["collapseobj_photo_$catcol"];

$pp_cat_list .= <<<PPPRINT

<tbody>
<tr>
<td colspan="5" class="tcat">
<a style="float:$stylevar[right]" href="#top" onclick="return toggle_collapse('photo_$catcol');"><img id="collapseimg_photo_$catcol" src="$stylevar[imgdir_button]/collapse_tcat$colimg.gif" alt="" border="0" /></a>
$CatTitle

Unhappy

Do you have a rough idea of how long this will take? I find it strange that nobody else has noticed that if the PhotoPost and ReviewPost categories are both displayed on the forums homepage, only one of the category sections will be hidden from view if the collapse arrow is clicked.

Your products are very good and integrate well with vBulletin, but this is a definite oversight I think. Some people would like more than just the featured items displayed on the homepage.

Well most people do not use the include cats block so it has never been pointed out any problems. This was originally a hack written by the developer of Photopost and has been ported the rest of the apps.

I have the changes worked out but can not post PHP files here. If you send me an email from your license email so I can verify you are who you are here I can send you both changed files.
