2.5: Calendar pal not showing up

Hi

Classified 2.5, upgraded from 2.42/ stand alone installion, no integration

I set up in admin options, that the calendar shall be visible. But it does not display.

This is with english as the language file (since my german version does not show up all features before I add the new language phrases)

What could be the reason for this?

Thanks indvance

Well you have an example of it doesnt show? Do you have the sidebar on?

As always make sure to download the code and upload all files. The final was released last week and there are several users I have seen still running beta files.

Hi Chuck

I just downloaded the file today from your website.

I found the problem. Sidebar setting. I oversaw the line "Under Category PAL?,
Display Recent Comments and Who's Online Pals" to put on YES

But Calendar alone at the buttom, without this, is not working.

This is not important for me, since I will use both at the same time, but others might prefer to show only the calendar at the buttom, nothing else...

To display the calendar you must be using either the undercats or sidebar settings to yes.

Just FYI

"Sidebar Placement?" there is only the option off/left/right, but not "buttom", so I turned it "Off"
"Show Sidebar on Index Page?" Is set to "YES"

But without the undercats set to YES, Calendar will not appear at the buttom.

mmmhhh, maybe this fix is not yet in the lasted dowload file?

I downloaded today. The downnload file is pp-classifieds25 from 8feb2006 at 0415pm (this is at leat written on it in the download section)

I downloaded it today at 2.37pm German time, which is 8.37am New York time, if that helps.

if I unzip this file, all php files are of 11.2.2006 except pp-inc and showmembers, which are from 13.2.2006. Folders I did not check...

... I deleted all templates and all php files and uploaded them again. No improvement.

But this is not on my priority now. There are many things that are not working yet properly in 2.5, which are for me more important. We can later on look into this further again...

There would be nothing to look into here

If you upload ALL THE TEMPLATES then as long as either calpal is on and either sidebar equals left or right or undercats pal is on the calendar will appear.
