Blank page when uploading image

Here is my setup. I am using Photopost 5.21, works great. I have Reviewpost 3.11 linked to the photopost database and it works great. But I cannot get the classifieds to work properly.

I originally was using V2.42 and it worked, but I was having a issue with it recognizing register users. So I decided to start clean and installed 2.5. Now when you try to upload a photo you get a blank page. I have tried small photos as well as different types of photos. I am using imagemagick which worked before the update and it works in my photopost & reviewpost. Of course I have made triple sure that I am using the proper settings to mogrify.

Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem - I've just upgraded from 2.5 Beta 4.. I didn't have any problem with uploading before.

The upload works fine when I do it without a photo. It's just when I try to upload with a photo..

When I look in the directory, the original photo is placed in the data/1 category, but the thumbnail is not there. I'm guessing something is not going well with the mogrify command (location checked)..

Does anyone have an idea why this may be happening?

Imagemagick does not give a blank page thats usually GD HMM

try removing this from image-inc.php and let me know

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Try changing that to this

Whoops spoke to soon.

The upload is working, and image resizes to preview image. No thumbnail shows nor does a folder get created. Also the no max image.

Where getting closer.

I'm having this exact same problem with a 2.5 installation. Using GD2. Tried to upload an image, was given the following error, and then boom, blank page.

Quote:
Unable to move file [/tmp/phphsZjl7] [/home/httpd/vhosts/astroclassifieds.com/httpdocs/classifieds/data//18/TOA150-EM400.jpg]
I see the double / in the url and went into the admin settings to fix that, but I'm still getting a blank page. Do I need to try flushing something? The code fix above is not present in 2.5.

Unable to move file simply means your permissions are not correct. Blank Page you might want to add at top of pp-inc.php near error_reporting line something like this

ini_set("memory_limit", "48M");

No error - just a blank page when I access the classifieds. I can access the admin panel, but nothing else.

well if you get a blank page everywhere but admin are you integrating with vbulletin? I would say your error has to do with you inputting on the last step of install the wrong server path to vb. In your config-intc.php file place in the $vbpath line the proper server path to your forums.

Well, it's really strange. My business partner was adding categories, then received that image error, then we've had blank pages ever since. It was working fine for about a month (integrated with VB3), then something just happened and it started giving us the blank page problem.

I've tried everything you suggested - even went into the server's base php.ini and upped the memory. I just tried to completely reinstall the classifieds and I'm still getting a blank page.

Here's the url: http://astroclassifieds.com

Here's a new piece of information I can share. I found this error in the drupal logs (I'm using vbdrupal) in regards to trying to access astroclassifieds.com/classifieds:
Quote:
main(./includes/class_postbit.php): failed to open stream: Success in /home/httpd/vhosts/astroclassifieds.com/httpdocs/classifieds/header-inc.php on line 94.

I would suggest you do what I said as far as making sure the correct vbpath is entered in your config-int.php file $vbpath line yours is wrong

Going to post this here since it might be a similiar problem.

I am using GD2 and get a blank page when uploading photos. Seems to be limited to large photos, needing to be resized. That is my only distinction as smaller photos load fine.

Cheers,

Wade
