Upgrade question

I am running Classified 2.5 beta 3.
As of today, version 2.5 final come out, I want to upgrade it, but I have a lots of templates modified, can I keep the current templates files and not overwrite all those new templates?
I mean I will upload all files to upload, except templates and config.
Is it possible?

No you can not do this. There have been quite a few changes since beta3

You would need to upgrade all the files listed in the announcement.

So I have to manual edit each template again after I upgrade? That would be painfull. But it's ok, I have no other choice.

Lol, I ran the upgrade script, but I didn't see any option to upgrade from 2.5 beta 3 to 2.5 final man.
Am I missing something here?
I am running 2.5 beta 3, I take a look of changes, but what I saw is only templates and languages change.
I don't think I would need to upgrade. Or do you have a better advice?

A whole lots changed from beta3. Run the 2.4-2.5 upgrade script and disregard any duplicate errors.

Kevin

Just redownload classifieds and upload the upgrade.php file and run the upgrade each step ONLY ONCE.

I redid it a little and it should solve your issue. Just make sure you have backup of the products table just in case

Speak to soon.
Upgrade completed, but only 1 problem. In forum home, all of my feature ads thumbnails are gone, they left the thumbnail black with overlay-round.gif
I don't know what's going on.
