Seemed to install ok but...

Hi there,
right install for VB3.5.3 and pp-classifieds seemed to go ok.....but when I come to log in as admin, thats when all my problems start. Admin seems to login to pp but just ends up going to a misc.php which appears to be a blank page ?

If one of you guys could take a look for me I would be greatful, install is at:

http://www.collectingdust.co.uk/pp-classifieds/

and VB3.5.3 is installed at

http://www.collectingdust.co.uk/home/

I am working with your customer Chris by the way, just in case you where confused by the name change hehehee..

Thanks

Nick

Thats easy on the last step of install you did not place the correct server path to the forum

IN config-int.php file edit the $vbpath variable and put the path to your forum there and your good

I registered a name and logged in fine although you have set no permissions to do anything

What do you mean it doesnt work? What happens if you try to go to admin panel?

http://www.collectingdust.co.uk/pp-c.../adm-index.php

I would suspect you have either not entered the correct vblicense or cookie prefix on install but lets see what you say happens.

Okay and as I have stated if you know this admin login works in vbulletin then you have incorrectly specified the cookie prefix in the database table and or vbulletin license number in your config-inc.php file.

You can look at the vbulletin config.php file to verify this info.

You need to use phpmyadmin or such and view the photopost settings table settings 171-173 and set the proper cookies. You can edit the photopost config file and make sure $vblicense is set to the proper vbulletin license number not customer number

Your login should work then.
