Upgrading Vbulletin

I'm planning on upgrading VBulletin from version 3.07 to the newest version which I'm pretty sre is 3.5.3

Should I be concerned with any major differences in communication between the data base or anything?

If I do a VB update will the classifieds system still work when I'm finished?

If your using the latest classifieds 2.42 you do not need to do anything however if your using an older classifieds you will need to upgrade.

ok - Thans for your answers.... 2 questions....

1 - I entered my licence number in my profile yesterday, but I am still showing up as a registered user...

2 - I see this i my CP "Classifieds 2.42 Update!" so I assume I am using an older version.... Am I able to pay Photopost for a upgrade service on both VB and Photopost Classifieds?

Your can get the verified tag by reading the steps needed on the announcement
posted at the top of every forum. Your forum email must match the license email.

You have a brand free so in your admin statistics you should see your version.

We can upgrade both your products the forum would be a custom charge you can email us to get the charge for that and the classifieds upgrade can be purchased right online

I guess I am going to need help with this verified user thing.... I updated my email address a day or so ago and I am not showing up as a verified user....

I also have 3 or 4 licenses so it would be nice if I could merge all of them somehow.....

----

Actally scratch that -------- It took a post to update it...

I went for the plunge and upgraded VB to 3.5.3 the other night ----- Wasn't as bad as I though it would be and I just left the original skin just to minimize the changes.....

I have noticed that the photopost classifieds system is still working but there may be just one bug... The only thing that doesn't seem to work is maybe the comments.... I tryed to make a comment to an ad and it did not work - it told me that I did not fill out all the required fields...

Can you tell me how many file changes there are from the last version to 2.4.2 ?

I can't see anywhere what version I have but it was only installed about 2 months ago..... Also, what is the wait time for a custom upgrade.... You massivly busy, would be same day would it?

ok - I see it - If I buy an upgrade, do I need to buy the brand free option again?

Nope you do not need to buy what you already own I would personally suggest you try out the 2.5 beta
