I bet your installing on MYSQL 5 which we have not certified the program for operation on yet. Most all hosts don't even run this yet

I would suggest installing mysql 4 if this is your own server.

oh boy, hmmmm. I can't reinstall this whole forum. My life sucks right about now.

Simply backup any databases and reinstall mysql etc and restore the databases
