Couple of Questions

1) How do I add nice neat frames/borders around the classified ad images? (Like this forum has)

2) My forum is new and hasn't been released to the public yet so all my ads are tests. When I first started messing around there was an option (how long do you want your ad to run?) ..

This option seems to have vanished. I'm assuming that I removed it somehow but don't know how ... how can I get it back?

3) Once I get this option back, does the system remove ads after the time period has expired?

4) I'm currently using the same style as my Vbulletin. When I enable highlighting, it just turns everything blue. Is there a way for me to select a seperate color for highlighting such as yellow (which isn't a part of the forums style) .. and would it even be possible to allow people to select from a couple of different choices? Yellow, Pink, Green highlights?

5) In the admin area, I've turned on the ability for avatars to show up .. however they are not. How can I fix this?

Thanks!
Donna

1. We are using a stock Vbulletin. you have a link to where you mean

2. Upload unmodified templates if you have modified things

3. use this

Cron Job: sendnotice.php

4. Add this to your vbulletin style

.yellow { color: #000000; background: #FFFF00; }

5. Have you posted a comment on an ad to see avatars are not shown? I had trouble finding an actual add that had any comments

Chuck,

Thank you for your quick response. The frame/boarders that I'm referring to are located on this site (thumbnails at the top of page: http://www.photopost.com/members/forum/index.php)

My Ad thumbs do not have any type of border around them and do not seem to conform to any particular size.

How can I add a border to my thumbnails? I noticed in the admin panel that there is a drop down but I have no borders included.

*Avatars: I didn't realize that the avatars would show up in the comments. It probably works!

Thanks again!
Donna

Ahh, somehow I thought that Photopost and Classifieds ran on the same type of "engine." There's no way to add any type of frame then?

Thanks!

I really don't understand it .... since this style doesn't in any way refer to the classifieds or highlighting or anything .. but it worked like a charm -hehe-.

Thanks Chuck, you are awesome.

That style indeed is the one used for highlighting. We add it to our stylesheets. With vbulletin using the vb header it overrides ours and you need to add that to every vb stylesheet
