FusionBB

Any chance of integrating Classifieds with FBB? I sure could use it.

The installation package needs updating to reflect this then, as I've just downloaded the latest version, and this is the message it says when installing:

Quote:
Database setup completed, but you aren't finished quite yet.

The final installation step will help you begin configuring PhotoPost Classifieds for your server.

Now you must choose whether you intend to use PhotoPost's Internal registration system, or a third party's, to register yourself and your users to grant access to upload ads and post comments,

If you do not own a third party forum program listed below, or you do not wish PhotoPost Classifieds to work with those applications, then choose:
PhotoPost Classifieds Internal User Registration

If you want PhotoPost Classifieds to use vBulletin, UBBThreads, DCForum, InvisionBoard, IkonBoard or phpbb2/Nuke/PostNuke existing user database and registration system, choose:

External User Registration
(vBulletin, UBBT6, DCForums, IB, Ikon, SMF, phpBB2 or Nuke)
It's only when you select the External User Registration that it becomes apparent lots of extra forums are supported. Might be a little confusing for newcomers.

I can appreaciate you might be confused but please let me know what you think is confusing? Internal and External are clearly defined in the message you link which tells me if your using an external registration like a forum you select external integration. That screen has been like that for 6 years now so with all constructive criticism let me know what you think would make it easier for you to understand.

Well, it threw me the first time I installed it.

If you do not own a third party forum program listed below, or you do not wish PhotoPost Classifieds to work with those applications, then choose:
PhotoPost Classifieds Internal User Registration

Where is FusionBB listed below? It isn't. (Or the multitude of others that you now support).

I'm only trying to help from a users perspective who very rarely sees these installation screens. Your installation screen is wrong, and needs updating.

We have never listed every single forum we integrate with on that screen. I would not call the installation screen wrong because of that

Fine, I'm only trying to help.

Can I suggest you change:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
to:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
If you don't want to, or are offended for whatever reason, then whatever, like I said, I'm just trying to help other people who are installing it for the first time.
