Question PHPBB2 Header and Footers??

Has anyone been able to integrate the PHPBB2 headers and Footers with the classifieds mod?? I know there are links to HTML files within the admin section... but that doesn't work for the PHPBB2 forums.

Is it a question of including some extra script within each file??

Any help would be greatly appreciated... this is a WICKED script, and I can't wait to get it integrated with my site

Thanks to all

You can make an html file mimicking the phpbb header quite easy as all it is is an html file

Here is an example of an html header over photopost and you see it is the same in phpbb

Thanks for the quick reply though i'm not sure it helped me out much

Isn't there a way to just include some code into the classifieds pages to include the header+footer etc??

For instance, what does each PHPBB page use to include the headers?? Couldn't I just use the same theory??

Failing all that... what's the easiest way to make a HTML page out of my header?

Thanks again

No there is no easy way to do it without hacking the code which would require you to know how to modify php scripts.

If you view the source of your phpbb forum you should be able to find the header html and stick it in the header of classifieds and same thing goes for the footer.

I'm running phpBB2 and PP Classifieds. What I had to do was create a seperate header.php and footer.php file that mimic the rest of my site so the forums and classifieds (and everything else) all match: http://www.fordf150.net/classifieds/
