Recent Ads on vBportal sideblock???

I have used Omegatron's code from phpPortals to have Recent Photopost images on my vbportal home and it works great!

I recently purchased ppclassifieds and have installed it into a seperate database w/ vb3 integration. Everything works but I am wanting to have a vertical sideblock on my vbportal page to show approx the last 4 most recent ads submitted to the ppclassifieds as thumbnails. Is this possible, or has someone already written a hack for this? I have read thru the forums and also did a search, but have not found anything to date that has worked for me as of yet.

Any help here would be apprieciated.

I beleive you should be able to modify the query and format of the reviewpost one posted on phpportals to suit your needs to work with classifieds.

I wish I knew enough about queries and format to modify this file myself but I don't...I was really hoping that someone may have possibly modified it already and would post it here.
