| $navbar Question
Hi, I have Photopost Pro and Photopost Classifieds installed on my server. I need to add a link in each program to the other program. I have been reading as much as I can, but I am still stuck. Most posts talk about modifying the $navbar, but I cannot find the links in header-inc or any template. Sorry for the lame question, but I am stuck. BTW, is this where I would also include a customized header image? Any help would be appreciated, even if you need to point out that I cannot see the forest thru the trees
thanks, Derek

You would edit the navbar template in vbulletin admin to add links to both programs

How do you do it with a standalone classifieds install. I know how to edit it in my vBulletin CP but not the PPClass cp.
Thanks

Help - I still don't see where to edit the links in the menubar in Classifieds. I see the menubar template - but I don't see how to manipulate $menu (which is right-aligned) and $menu2 (which is left-aligned).
I want to add additional text links in one or the other - where are these edited?

why not add a regular link next to $menu2 $menu etc like so in menubar.tmpl Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

Thanks - LOL - that was a no brainer - good thing your brain was kicking in - mine's overloaded due to the watermark/images issues that are plaguing me |

Hmm - do you mean make that edit in pp-inc.php instead of in menubar.tmpl - because I don't see any reference to · anywhere on menubar.tmpl
But if I'm correct - it's about line 1420 on pp-inc.php?
Thanks in advance

Well that's definately not the right place, and neither is line 1428 - I get parse errors if I try to add a link in either place.

You can make edits whereever. The easiest way is as stated in menubar template directly as noted. You only want to edit pp-inc.php if you want to change where one of our links go

OK - I tried editing menubar.tmpl.
I received the following error. Quote:
Warning: fopen(/home/bbasket/public_html/classifieds/templates/vb3enhanced//menubar.tmpl): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/bbasket/public_html/classifieds/adm-misc.php on line 2688
Unable to write changes, permissions on menubar.tmpl are not set properly.
| The template directory as well as the menubar.tmpl file permissions are all set to 777 (I just verified this).
adm-misc.php is by default set to 644 - but even when I changed it to 777 I still received the same error (so I reset it to 644 again).
Appreciate the assistance.

You would need to chmod your templates to 666 if you want to edit them
