Cannot Post Comments - Required Fields

Running brand new install of Photopost Classifieds, VBulletin Integration with v.3.0.8 on the backend. Everything appears to work great so far except one thing - comments.

I am logged in as the admininstrator and posted my first test ad into one of the cat's I created. Worked great - pictures uploaded and thumbnailed, etc. Life is good. I posted a comment on the Quick Comment - worked perfectly. Then I hit the link for Comments and went to the WYSIWYG page - typed in a quick comment and got this:

You did not fill in all the required fields.

Uhhh....? There are NO OTHER fields that I could possibly fill in on that page. The WYSIWYG box is it. I have double checked everything - and like I said, all other features appear to work great.

What am I doing wrong?

(P.S. - Site is currently on internal network only, not accessible from Internet)

Anyone?

I did a complete re-install (deleted all pp_ tables from the database, deleted all files/folders, removed all cookies from local machine - then completely re-installed).

I have the identical problem. Users can log in and see ads, and can post Quick Replies all day long. No user - the original poster, the system admin, moderators or registered users - can post comments using the Comments link and the WYSIWYG editor. No matter who tries, the result is the same - Did not Complete All Required Fields. Problem is, there are no fields other then the main comment box....

OK...call me stupid...but I did not post this issue anywhere else to the best of my knowledge. Since this was apparently during one of my crack highs can you please point me to this other forum where you replied? I have searched both the member's area and non-member's area and did not find anything else related to this other then another user with a VB3 advanced comment posting problem back in June - which is not my issue.

Thanks!

You opened a support ticket at support@photopost.com which I have already responded to.

We ask customers to choose one instance of support so we are not double answering support requests.

I have this issue to. All registered usergroups are allowed to post comments. Yet when I type in a comment it tells me to fill in all required fields. If I click back and then submit again, it works. But never the first time. I read old threads from 2005 that have this fix...

Quote:
Okay in the quickcom and comments templates find this

<textarea name="comment" cols="50" rows="10">$ecomments</textarea>

change it to this

<textarea name="message" cols="50" rows="10">$ecomments</textarea>
However that specific code seems to no longer exist in the current versions. Any help?
