PP and Classified Stand Alone install

Trying to do a fresh stand alone install of PP and PP Classifieds. Installed PP as usual no problems, then installed classifieds next using the same database entries, but using 2 different PhotoPost Classifieds Database Prefix's one pp_ the other ppclass_ . Can't get logged in to the classifieds section as admin. Says not registered but when I click the register page it says already registered. The registration page and login screen is pointing to the gallery it's just that classifieds doesn't see the db . Haven't seen this before so what are we missing here?

Well I take it the gallery does not have a prefix of pp_

Try overwriting your photopost.php file in classifieds forums directory with this one and login

rename it to php of course

For the record, should I have used the same default prefix (pp_) for both the gallery and the classifieds?

No doing so would cause conflict and overwrite and mess up the other application

Yes it sure does, I installed the classifieds module with the same prefix and it killed my gallery. Any way to "undo" this? I went through and changed the paths in the DB that were changed to the classified and parts of the gallery came back. but not all.

Right I beleive you misunderstood what was written by me as I stated you can not use the same table prefix.

Your only recourse would be to use phpmyadmin and change the settings paths etc or do a mock install of your gallery to reset the paths etc. Anything issued on install with an update command. So settings say 1-15 you want to check and revert and settings 41 and 83 would probally get you up and running.
