Installed.... Now MySQL Errors. Please Help!

I know this is probably something stupid or simple, please help me nonetheless...

I installed photo post classifieds today as a vb3 integration. Everything seems to have worked fine but i am getting mysql errors at the top of my pages, above the vb headers, sometimes one, sometimes a few....

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /classifieds/forums/vb3.php on line 25

And here is one under my nav bar in vb....

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /classifieds/forums/vb3.php on line 54

I believe I set all the directories correctly, everything seems to be working aside from these annoying errors. Thanks in advance for any and all assistance! Have a wonderful day.

Looks to me like when you installed the application you did not specify the proper vbulletin table prefix.

Thanks, and how would I go about repairing this and finding the correct table prefix? Certain place to look? And where can it be edited? Thanks.

Your correct table prefix and database info is in your vb config file in the vb includes directory

You would either use phpmyadmin to view the photopost settings table and enter the prefix in the setting field for entry 83 or reinstall the application again with the correct information

okay now it says "You are not a valid administrator or moderator! "

There are no options to post or place a new ad....etc. but I am sure that I have to login as an admin so I can turn these options on. The one time i did sucessfully login, i only had the ability to view the empty barebone software. No real options, but it is now loading without sql errors tho... So im sure once im in as admin the rest should go easy..

now.... all i could think to check were the following:

my vb license (NOT CUSTOMER NUMBER) is entered correctly and the cookie prefix (tseforums) in the db around line 175 or so is the same as I specified in the vb install.

my vb install is at http://topshelfexotic.com/vbulletin/
and my photopost classified install is at http://topshelfexotic.com/vbulletin/classifieds/

possibilities...? Please be specific as possible... Thanks again in advance!

(almost there!!! soooooooo anxious to get this working!! )

Your cookie domain is blank in both apps and you have them installed on two separate domains. www makes a difference

Set both apps to use the cookie domain .topshelfexotic.com so both www and no prefix will work.

okay, i changed the domain as you said, cleared my cookies, and tried logging in and it worked..... no admin error message.

one problem though.... i dont have any admin options, i go to log into admin, sign in, says i logged in sucessfully, and sends me to the regular classifieds listing.

what am i doing wrong. something tells me it has to be a VERY stupid mistake on my part... lol

thanks again

Your sure your logging in with an admin account that belongs to usergroup 6. It must be usergroup 6 as thats the main admin usergroup and the only one set to control panel access on install

Cause everything else looks okay as far as cookies are concerned

Move user Omegatron in Vbulletin to usergroup 6.

In phpmyadmin if you view the classifieds usergroups table is there an entry for admins groupid of 6 and cpaccess set to 1

cpaccess in usergroups is set to the following:

type: smallint(3)
attributes: nothing here
Null: No
Default: 0 ( is this supposed to be 1? )
Extra: nothing here
