Users cannot see "Post an Ad" but admin can.

Hi,

Installed at Zclub.net, admin can see "post and ad" but no one else can.

I have followed

Post Ad link missing(FIXED)

But it appears already to have been fixed in 2.4.1. I have also used the search facility and haven't found anything helpful.

I just this second upgraded from 2.4 to 2.4.1 but that hasn't helped.

Have attached my permissions, confirmed they are also correct in the database.

Thanks

In that case check your usergroup permissions for upload and category permissions for upload. I have classifieds installed with vb3 and my users have a post an ad button

Your usergroups are not right. Usergroup 2 is registered members on your picture it is usergroup 4

You might want to drop all entries but 6 for admin and reimport them as it looks like to me you did a switch integration and then did not align the usergroups right after

I'm not sure how I drop all entries? Do you mean set all to no?

Do you want admin access to my classifieds and maybe you (if you have time) can have a look for me please?

www.zclub.net/classifieds is the address.

You had a standalone photopost it looks like that you switched to vbulletin after the fact.

As such you need to align the usergroups so what you need to do is do a query like this in the database

DELETE from pp_usergroups WHERE groupid != 6

Then refresh usergroups from admin section and set permissions

Hi,

I've had VB since day one, firstly with 2.5 then 3.0. I then added pp, then rp, and now ppc. I will drop the usergroups, and refresh. I have added extra groups in vb though.

Will let you know how it goes thanks.

That appears to have fixed it, thank you omegatron.

I guess I must have refreshed usergroups before i was correctly integrated.
